Curves, Corners, however, you look at it, Toronto has a few interesting ones it likes to show off.
One of Toronto’s most photographed downtown corners, The Gooderham building, known for its cool rounded feature.
The tower of Old City Hall, at Bay and Queen street, reflecting off a new nearby reflective skyscraper.
A mural painted on the end of the old Flatiron building in downtown Toronto.
An edited miscellaneous alley, with corners, just for added fun.
Beautiful corners.
Thanks. ?
Lovely look at a city I’ve only been through one time. 🙂
Thanks. Well, you’ll have to come back one day. In the summer of course so that you don’t die of hypothermia. ?
Definitely in the summer. I was wearing a coat in June in Quebec 4 years ago. 🙂
I’m not surprised to hear that, which is why I said summer. I know how thin skinned (a softy) you are. hahaha
LOL!
Actually though, Quebec, specifically, Bromont weather can really suck compared to Toronto. They get a lot more rain, storms, and associated stuff than Toronto. Just putting in a final plug for Toronto! :-))
I’d like to visit Canada again. Vancouver was beautiful, too. Most of Canada is beautiful in the summer. I lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin but never could get used to the cold weather. You’d think a person would acclimate after 9 years.
Oh, you visited Vancouver too? I didn’t know that. I haven’t been west of Alberta but I’ve heard that Vancouver is beautiful.
I guess you’re just got one of those bodies that refuses to acclimate!
Nice series of photos! Love that mural!
I do love that first building. Fabulous Victorian gothic 🙂
Thanks, I love that building too. ?
