Toronto is hosting the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, at The Royal Ontario Museum. This competition is the longest-running nature photography competition in the world and has been shown here for five years in a row.
The stunning images capture everything from fascinating animal behaviour to breath-taking landscapes. The artistry and technical excellence of the craft of photography offer new ways of seeing our natural world.
The winner of this year’s prestigious Competition is South African photographer Brent Stirton. He was named Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2017 by a panel of international judges for his image, Memorial to a species.
Congratulations to all of the entrants.
THanks for sharing them. These photos are stunning. I have a thing for Tim Laman’s photo. Have a good one.
