Toronto: The Rise – The Set

Sunrise:

“Light streaks the softening velvet sky as if innocently saying, “it’s me. it’s time,” and morning erupts into the distant sky with sparks of fresh new chances.” – Amanda Ricks 2018

“It was not so much a modification of the darkness, as a sigh of relief, a slight relaxing of tension, so that one felt, rather than saw, that the night had suddenly lost a shade of its density… ― Hope Mirrlees, Lud-in-the-Mist.

Sunset:

A hush soothed it’s way over the world as daylight slipped closer to the horizon. Another day comes to an end with a final flash of brilliant colour called sunset.  – Amanda Ricks 2018

Sunset is the start of something beautiful: the night.”
― Juansen Dizon, Confessions of a Wallflower.

“There’s always a story. It’s all stories, really. The sun coming up every day is a story. Everything’s got a story in it. Change the story, change the world.”
― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky.

“At times very small things may bring much more happiness than bigger and “better” ones. Look around you and notice things. An innocent toothless smile, a good laugh, a good movie, an old song bringing back memories of yesteryears, a warm embrace, a child cuddling up to you or falling asleep in your arms, prayers, a flock of birds in the sky, a beautiful sunrise or sunset and so on can bring a lot of joy. Unwind and just let yourself free. You’ll see beauty all around you; beauty that is uplifting and all-encompassing.”
― Latika Teotia.

Great photos. I love the last tow.

Regarding that blog. Amanda, it was protected and the horrors still came in. She shut it down. They hacked her email. Set her up for dozens of dating sites. IT just became to much

Don’t know what she can do. She lives in India, so I guess she has no rights here in the USA.

She will rest and recharge and come back anonymously some day

        Thanks for everything
