In 2015 I had an online store where I sold digital and print copies of original image quotes. Unfortunately, at the time, I was inexperienced with many ways of the web.
One day I shared the following quote on Facebook.
Unfortunately, at the time, I forgot to add my watermark before I posted it to Facebook.
Later, when checking my analytics, I was shocked to see that it had been shared and downloaded thousands of times! I managed to track down most of the downloads, but obviously there was nothing I could do.
I calculated that if even a small percentage of the downloads had instead been purchased downloads, at my lowest sale price, I would have made approximately $829.00!
Now I can laugh at my mistake and realize that at least the experience was a lesson learned!
