Everyone has a dark side. A part of them that harbours their less attractive attributes, thoughts, feelings, desires and actions. Without our dark side, we would be unable to see or appreciate our light side.
Our light side represents our good intentions, our positive attitudes, behaviours, thoughts and feelings. How would we recognize our happiness if we had never felt sadness, grief or depression?
Both sides make up the whole. Each facet of our personality and our brains complete our humanness. Without one, we are not complete, we are dysfunctional, even disordered.
Even physically we are only completely whole if both halves are together. Complete. The right needs the left for optimal functioning.
Once again half and half make the whole.
