Before 2020 leaves let’s do some Christmas

In one form or another, I’ve been doing this blogging thing for almost a decade. Wow, where did the time go, but more importantly, where are the million followers I was hoping to amass? Just kidding.

Over the years, despite many changes in my life and starting my own business, I’ve kept this blog going. Surprising Lives holds a special place in my heart. It’s where I can post what’s in my heart or on my mind without jumping through SEO hoops etc.

Keeping this blog has been a relief, especially during the past year but I am so ready for a new year and the new hopes that it brings.

But before we say goodbye to 2020, there’s one thing that I always enjoy: Sharing about Christmas with ideas, tips, and lovely photographs that help spread the joy.

So, this year I’m going to share on here a few of my favourite Christmas pictures and ideas from previous years and old blogs.

First, here’s a couple of snowy scenes to get you into the Christmas mood;

Now, what would Christmas be without Christmas Trees?

And, of course, we need decorating ideas;

And last but certainly not least we need some festive treats;

I hope everyone has the happiest of holidays and a healing new year!

    Oh, that was very clever of you to leave the festive treats to the last. You had me with the cup of cocoa and fudge and just chocolate. Happy holidays Amanda … that’s the spirit with which both of us will be inspired to make them special this year.
