Honouring Robin Williams

surprisinglives.net/honouring-robin-williams/

“Death is nature’s way of saying, ‘Your table is ready.'” – Robin Williams

Canada HBO has an upcoming Robin Williams special which prompted me to remember and miss once again the irreplaceable Robin Williams.

Robin could be a little bit crazy. But he was hysterical, incredibly talented, and most of all wonderfully caring and eloquent.

I find it heartbreaking, that a man who inspired so many people felt so alone and hopeless, himself, in the end.

I thought I’d share the above quote of his in honour.

Robin Williams was an amazing actor who won everyone over. I truly miss his acting.

I loved Mork and Mindy (especially the first season). He was so good in Mrs. Doubtfire and even as a grown-up Peter Pan. I couldn’t imagine him in a serious part, and yet cried most of the way through What Dreams May Come.

    An exceptional talent.

I totally agree. I loved him in all of his different roles, even his on-stage act which was admittedly pretty crude and therefore not my usual taste. But he was just one of those incredible talents, no matter what he did.
