One of the most treasured memories that I have of my life is the year+ that I lived in Costa Rica. Although I was still barely a teenager at the time it was life altering in a wonderful way.
Being exposed to a uniquely different yet wonderful new culture, country and climate, language, and way of life was astounding. I managed to become completely fluent in Spanish within a few months. Oh, the joys of a quick young mind.
The beauty of Costa Rica will always stay crystal clear in my mind. As will the warmth and openness of the incredible people.
